"Commiting Suicide"- best title I could come up with, so far. Not much creative juices flowing, but I am still quite tempted to join this video competition on Health with Zixin, Xue Mei and Shu Hui. Cos the themes are the usual suspects, such as "say no to smoking", "healthy eating" and so on which I daresay has been done to death. BUT, after one uses a trolley as a makeshift dolly and pushes camera in Orchard Road amongst glares of (many) curious onlookers, one begins to want to explore many other ways of making films. So I should get my lazy bones up and about, finish writing that script so we can start making something. And try to forget it's Christmas next week, because it's proving to be a major distraction- I've discovered that the Holiday Mood ruins productive work because "it's supposed to". However, am looking forward to the "homely" Christmas parties I'm invited to. Quiet time with close friends instead of a big, pretentious party where people try to manuveor awkwardly in their done hair and thousand dollar dresses in order to avoid that fat obnoxious stranger standing under the mistletoe. As for now though, it's back to Microsoft Word.
