Somehow, this past week has been surreal. I've seem to glide through the week, glided through school, and also, glided through the basketball nationals. Gliding, in case you don't know, is equivalent to sliding. My grades are GLIDING! Swinging down, flying down, stooping to a new low which is what i call 2 upon 25. Integration, finding area using integration and the trapezium rule. How hard can it get? You just plonk in those funny symbols which can pass off as alien language, use the friggin' rules and formulas, and (as Mr Neo the Econs Lecturer like to say it) lo and behold, the answer magically appears. My answers did appear. But they were all wrong. 2/25 for a maths test that I DID STUDY FOR.

Deservingly so.

Turning my back from MAths and looking at Chemistry, I got my first ZERO of my life. The heading on my test writes "SIMPLE TEST ON DEFINATIONS OF ENTHALPY CHANGE" Simple? Yea. The teacher marked really simply too. One word wrong? Everything wrong. 0/10. At least I got a perfect score. Perfect 0.

The only consolation was my Basketball Nationals. MY team was fantastic. At least on the court, WE were better than 2/25 or 0/10. That really helped.

Oh boy. I hope i don't get a single digit for my MID Year.

"Have you seen the sky?" She said, and hurriedly pointed up. Up above our heads were two red spaceships, exactly like the ones you see in sci-fi movies.


As they flew over our heads, it suddenly hit me. What if I can never see the daylight ever again. For a fact, they do look frightning, espacially the one furthur away, the "alien" looked "buay song". One of them has even took Deanna as her hostage. Just look at her evil grin!

Just at that time, I realised I might go any moment. Hence, I decided to do what I should have done long ago. To wish Gwen Happy Birthday.

Up until now, the total number of people that I've PROUDLY PRANKed stands at 4. Which, now that I think about it, isn't such a proud figure after all.

You know, pranking people isn't easy at all. When I started out my "warming up" ( by telling all the bball girls there was no training today), it was good, only Carmen didn't fell for it. Somehow, I guess people forget today's APRIL FOOLS DAY.

This is what I did to the 4 people. (Just in case someone's interested, which i don't think anyone is but still...)

Jacqueline: Hello?
Me : Hey, Jacqueline, are you free to come out now?
Jac: Er.. yar... can... why leh?
Me: Something happened. I need to borrow some money.
Jac: Huh... oh ok... can.. how much you need?
ME: $100 plus.
Jac: (Loudly) HUH! I don't have so much, I only got $50, you want?
Me: I don't know leh... erm...
Jac: What happened? Tell me!
Me: Orh... cos today... today is HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY!

She screamed so loudly after that. But I'm surprised, she's actually willing to come out at 9.21pm and lend me money.

And the rest of the people I pranked, Charlene, Andrea Zhang Mei Hui ( i write the full name just to get a kick out of it), Stephanie were genuininely concerned. Well, either that or they're just busybodys. Haha, but they're not.

I tried impersonating an Indian person, but Ho Shi Qi saw through it with my "hello, vre you Ms hO shi Qi?" She promptly replied with a " Vyes, vhat vo vou vant?"

Couldn't fool Gwen too. Didn't have anything prepared when she picked up the phone, so told her straight that I wanted to prank her.

Didn't dare to prank Ms Su. Think she'll just kick my head off lah... haha...

So, April Fools Day is the day where you have fun, and you realise that your friends do care.

So in future, should prank more people right?
