An Ode To Nature.
Fizza (girl above) and I went to Kent Ridge Park because we needed to do a brochure on it for our assignment. It's a pretty nice park atop a hill with a panaromic view of Singapore's west coastline. We sat down to watch the sunset. We were tempted to put the tagline as "The nature-lover's playground by day, the lover's playground by night." This was because we spotted a couple sitting at one of the benches, talking casually when we left Kent Ridge for dinner after the sun has just set. We returned hours later to capture the night view and we saw that couple again-- this time the girl was sitting on the man's lap and they were making out. In the end, we stuck to "The nature-lover's playground". And to date, we've just completed our brochure! It was a painstaking process, and we spent most of our time putting our heads far away from the computer screen to see how it will look like overall. Took us 6 hours yesterday and 4 hours the day before. But we're pretty much satisfied. :D

It dawned on me that I feel so aware of everything now that I'm a communications student.Body language, words, actions. Manipulative devices. And then there's a certain kind of satisfaction that is derived out of knowing more than the rest.(oh, maybe I'm starting to get what being elite-ist feels like)My big sister said once, "Once you're in university, you're a modernist. Once you're in communications school, you're a post-modernist."It's true, you know. Either that, or I'm just thinking too much.

The "I think I exhausted my camera phone too much" post.
Lil' sis.
This bunch of single girls spent $150 on Valentine's Day @ Fish and (coughs*ripoff*) Co. and all we got were a lousy box of chocolates. It's random. Above picture by request. Apple decided to do quality control on the pictures of her I CAN put up on my blog.
24 year old lady and me entertaining ourselves last friday.

i can't believe it.It's 6.24pm Friday, and I'm in school. I have no life.Thank goodness for a 24 plus year old lady (she wants me to type "girl") who is sitting beside me listening to my rants.Says she, " ohmygod, we are like losers leh, staying in school on a friday night."I agree completely. But then part of me still don't want to go home yet-- home is very unproductive. Plus I surely can wait for the part where my dad will look at me and go "tsk tsk, why you drive car until like that?".I don't like to look at disappointed faces. Especially when it's 100% my fault. Then, there's the other part of me, who just want to stop the urge of checking that lil' vibrating machine every ten to fifteen minutes. What for, what for, what for?I shouldn't care about distractions anymore. I do have much work to do, which is why I'm in school at this point in time.I (chose to) have no life.

The saying is true. It never rains, it pours.12 demerit points. $200. Eat shit and die. 处此之外,我有一点被欺骗的 b感觉。 很可能是自己骗自己吧。。。

The collapsed Namdaemun. You can't see it, but the great Namdaemun stood somewhere behind this Auto Toilet last year. Today, due to a great fire, this national treasure has become nothing but ash and wood. I was lucky-- while the rest of the people were taking pictures with an Auto Toilet, I was qietly capturing the beauty of Namdaemun. Far bigger than Dongdamun and also surrounded by a roundabout, everything about it just spells majestic. The tiled roof, the stone base showed a glimpse of Korean history. Now parts of it are lost forever.---On a totally different topic, I tailed this young lady the other day.

The "Every Year Always Here" New year post.
Day 2. Mum prepared steamboat for the family because (we think) no one's coming to our house.
Animal abuse. Sister put lil' clips on for Timothy, and transformed him into a member of the opposite sex. As if being a gineau pig isn't bad enough!
Day 1.
"Why so little money?!!"
Me and big sister went visiting and photowhoring. Wahahaha.
Eve. Reunion dinner at Teochew Restaurant.
Once again, baby Morgan remains the centre of attention. Kids are really important during family gatherings, because it'll be veryveryveryvery boring without them.
Therefore, we need more kids in the TAN family. Disa! Do something leh.
The smallest (but most useful) brother in the Tan clan with 3 of his 4 children.
(this one is the mother of his kids)

Just like ol' ol' times Felicia brought her sexy back.

Make balls of yarn, not war."I woke up early today."Filming is on the top of my list for today. Hope that everything goes smoothly and the pictures turn out fine. (And weather stays calm and cloudy!)And I slept at 4am last night! Someone should give me an award for being able to pull away from the soft, spring-loaded bed this early! But then again, there are people who don't sleep at all. Crazy bastards. Anyway, it was an eventful day yesterday. The team won their last game (YAY!) and after that I went off for Simon's 21st birthday.Over there, Charlene (Sivalingam) and I went back to the good ol' days. We sat on this stool and started talking and talking-- I think all we did was to talk. In JC, I can see this girl for 12 hours straight, and still we'd have things to talk about the next day.Nothing short of amazing, huh?And I remember that people will ask me where she is, and vice versa if they needed any one of us. Yes, we were (almost) joined at the hip during that 2 short years at SR.And she'd scare me by fainting during class.Okay, maybe it doesn't count cos it was only 1 time. Then fate took a turn, and now we're no longer Siamese twins even though we went to NTU. She's the cheerleader from Hall 3 while I'm the girl who plough through traffic every day to get to school. Along the way, we met different people, (she) fell in love, had different issues to think about. And at the end of it all, we're still yakking away when we finally see each other. Cool huh? :)
