KISS AND TELLWell, here are some facts and figures about my trip to Bangkok, Thailand. And yes, it is a big deal that I went to Bangkok, because frankly, I haven't been anywhere else other than Malaysia the past few years. So sorry if you hear me raving and boasting about it because it's currently the 2nd most important thing I would want to bother telling you about. 54earrings were bought by my sisters and I in total.Number of pants/skirts bought for self-3 2- number of pants/skirts that I couldn't fit in after trying it on in the hotel room. HOW MUCH? sentance uttered the most during the trip Cheated of 400 baht (or S$16) buying a pirated ROXY cap. In retrospect, it was my first bargaining attempt and I should be forgiven of allowing the seller to cheat me of my 400baht. 2/3 of the trip was spent in shopping malls, night markets, weekend markets or on the road. Number of people who dig their noses in public-15 nevertheless, they weren't really to blame. The air was bad. BLACK-colour of my pi sai while in Bangkok.
5 planes took off from the same runway before my plane's turn to take off. Imagine, even planes have to QUEUE to fly!! PUNY adjective used to describe size of plane, budget airline Jetstar Asia's plane by the way. Distance between seats in the plane- INCHES Below are pictures taken from my handphone during the trip there.
We've just arrived and are overly excited
This is the skytrain ticket in Bangkok. Yes, my family took the train. The ticket was the flimsy ticket we used a few years back in Singapore before it was replaced by EZ link.
That's the train behind me!
As opposed to the skytrain, the MRT which runs underground makes use of this coin. It holds the same function as your EZ Link card, tap and go. Joke on brother's butt not intended.
When dad tells sis, "NO MORE SHOPPING!"
Chinatown. Notice the tuk tuk.
Sharks fin. I just SAVED a surfer even though I killed a shark. It's all grey man. My 400 baht Roxy Cap. Sad man. (Even though I don't look like it.) Sis analyzing hair loss due to too much shopping, as Mummy looks on. (I'm so gonna get pinched by my idiotic sis if she sees this, oh to hell she will see this... Disa's farts stinks!) Till the next time i'm free.... Ciao for now

Excited, Anticipation, Love, FamilyBeing the advanturous that I am, or cheapskate so to speak, I stumbled onto this FREE INTERNET ACCESS!! booth in the Airport, and decided to blog about it. Hehe. So, yes, I'm now nearly on my way to Bangkok. I can see my plane from where I'm standing now, it's a JETSTAR plane. In a few minutes time, I shall be on my way to the CHAIRS and wait, then I shall wait somemore till 9.15am until the plane finally leaves ground. I sure hope it's a safe flight. Why of course, Deanna. Don't be silly.Don't miss me,you guys, it's only a few days. Haha. And er, MERRY CHRISTMAS To you!!! Hohoho, yes, best wishes to you who's reading this. Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHARLENE one day in advance!

Of A Prank, Birthday, Leaving and FatigueWE celebrated Charlene's birthday yesterday night. It was a surprise birthday, with a little cheese cake as her birthday cake, and a teeny weeny present (costed a bomb though). The band at TIMBRE played "Happy Birthday" to her, which she confessed was the best rendition of "Happy Birthday". Nice. Other than that, I was really tired so I didn't talk much. Work was draining, even though it wasn't physical. I think that staring into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet can really suck your life out. Must be the millions of cells! Make eyes DOOZY. So, Charlene's in India, I'm going to Bangkok. Hopefully Gek Eng got the job, and SQ get long Dinner breaks... New year's coming. I want SCHOOL. Bangkok here I come.

My Christmas in BangkokMy shorter-than-me Dad has just announced a few days before, that the family would be going to Bangkok, Thailand for a four-day-three-night vacation. That means my mama and papa would get a well deserved break, and my sisters and I would get to shop half our lives away. (I sure hope so!) Only bummer is that the bugger, cockroach, disgusting vile insect of a brother is coming as well. I only hope that he does not forget he has a "whinee" or in singapore talk "KKB" (I was told by Lagoon that it could either stand for Ku ku bird or King Kong Breasts) while in Bangkok. That's because he tends to forget he has one in Singapore, that sissy. Oh, and fyi, my sisters and him enjoy an "ESTRANGED" relationship. We are currently not on speaking terms. To justify the "estranged" part even furthur, my sisters and I have the urge to stran-gle him, and the feeling is mutual. So, as I was saying, Christmas would be, for me, spent in an airplane for a few hours, then in a foreign land where I would fall in love with all the retail outlets have to offer. Stay optimistc. Your christmas present may be coming soon from Bangkok. Oh, and by the way, I have this feeling i would need to bring a calculator over for a bargaining advantage. Only problem is, I only have 1 calculator and it's the scientific one. I really should use that calculator, devise a whole new equation and confuse the seller.

Collective memories of Last week on Earth (Which, by the way means "last week" as in from 3rd december to 11th december, not "THE last week on Earth", hurhur.)Incident number one- MY Birthday Laughs. Last last saturday, I went to Billy Bombers with my seniors from basketball. It was to celebrate my friend, Ena's birthday, which coincidentally is one day away from mine. When I reached The Heeren, I waited for my friend, Yan Hui at the traffic light. I was wearing a skirt, plus a really (To her) feminine top. She looked at me and laughed all the way till we reached Billy Bombers. Reason cited : "Never seen you in this before." Alrighty. Fair enough I guess. At least it wasn't like last time, when Grace said I looked like a "transvestite" when I attempted to dress like a girl. Ruiyi, Ena, Yan Sze, Yuen Xin, Renee and Joan were also there. Renee, I've just found out has got a thing for "CROWNS" (Read: yes, those hats dorned by kings). I though it was really quirky. When she showed me her Crown belt and Crown earrings, well basically that was her whole crown emsemble, I showed her mine too. I have a crown. Inside my mouth. It's actually a cap on a weakened tooth and it's called a crown. So I showed her, with my mouth opened and all. Her first reaction was "EEEEYYYUUUUUCCCKKK!!!!" It was fun terrorising Renee. Definately. Event 2- Talk Cock Gang Gathering In my days as a 1st-three-months-in-Junior-College student, I actually co-founded this "Gang" called the "Talk Cock" Gang. Basically, we talk cock all the time. Talking cock is not about discussing the nether regions of a man's body, even though we sometimes do veer into that topic (tee hee). It's about talking rubbish, or just talking. There was an impromptu gathering on a thursday night with me, Liling and Ying Chin, 3 out of the 5 in the gang. We did what we should that night- talk cock. Oh! And they were so kind as to buy a SARA LEE CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE for my birthday. Plus a really cute Winnie the Pooh "Words of Wisdom" book as well. Event Number 3- Timbre My classmates, LiJun and Pamela were working as waitresses at this restaurant called Timbre, so Hwee Teng, Charlene and me decided to go check it out. It was like a backyard restaurant nestled between a shophouse and a carpark. It has a live band, which was awesome. Only bad thing was there were smokers, and smokers meant bad lungs, and bad lungs meant cancer. Event Number 4- Basketball! I played basketball again. Finally, after such a long time, after my muscles have become soft and my skin has become as fair as Snow white, I went out into the sun again. With Gwen, Yuen Xin, Claris, and Grace. Even if it's only for half a day.

Workaholic, NOT!!Today, at work, I have managed to check my email account from hotmail, play Yahoo Pool, read up on Harry Potter, Avril Lavigne, Deathnote, Backstreet Boys, Gilmore Girls and the World Cup on Wikipedia.com. Along the way, I've added new friends into my friendster account, and even had time for a little chat with my friend who has a hair loss problem, Ho Shi Qi. This is an excerpt of our conversation. Me:my mole makes me smart, it makes me pretty, and unique.Jealous? shiqi:is that smarties in disguise, haha! Maybe one day whole u are eating smarties, it got stucked on ur head, hahaha but no matter how hard u tried,u cant remove it. I was hoping to be able to talk about prom night, but there were far too many details that I am, by now, too tired to go into. It's way easier to talk (and gesture) about the prom then to type it. As far as I know, I look nice, which is the whole point of prom anyway. I have realised, I am no office material. I'm scared of my two bosses, both attractive females, and I have no initiative whatsoever. Thank whoever for my collegue who's always there to ask necessary questions and all, while I just nod my head along for the ride.
